Fires can happen anywhere at any time. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics approximates that 3% of workplace fatalities are due to fires and explosions. The goal of the MAC Safety Fire Protection and Prevention Safety Course is to educate employees not he origins of fires and the basics of fire protection and prevention. Participants learn how to identify and manage risks to prevent fires from occurring in the first place. They’re also taught how to use various types of fire extinguishers and properly handle fire emergency situations.
